This page explains what we collect through this website, why, which services handle it for us, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do.

Who is responsible

VCinema LLC, a Georgia limited liability company doing business as VCinema Studios, Atlanta, Georgia. Questions about your information go to VCinema.Studios@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Start a project: your answers (contact details, the project, budget, timing and usage, and the legal-check questions about people, likenesses, voices and music) and any files you upload. Files go to private storage that only the studio can open.
  • Email me this estimate (Pricing): your email address, the choices you made and the price shown. We email you the estimate and may follow up once about your project. We don’t add you to a mailing list.
  • Book a call: your name, email, the three project answers and, if you add one, your note for us before the call (up to 500 characters) go to Cal.com, our scheduler, which books the call and sends the invite. Cal.com then tells us about the booking, and we keep its time, your answers and your note with your enquiry.
  • VCinema Supply list: your email, the categories you ticked, and the exact consent wording you agreed to and when. We email you a confirmation now and one email when VCinema Supply opens. No mailing list.
  • Spam protection: for each form, a salted hash of your IP address (a one-way code made with a secret value), never the address itself, so we can limit repeat submissions.
  • Emails we send: a record of each one (the address, which email it was and whether it was delivered).

We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking pixels, and this website sets no cookies of its own.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your brief and prepare your proposal, and to run the project if you go ahead.
  • To send what you asked for: the estimate, the call booking, the VCinema Supply email.
  • To keep the forms free of spam and abuse.
  • To keep records of agreements and payments.

Services that handle it for us

  • Vercel hosts the website. It handles every request to the site, including your IP address and browser details, to deliver the pages.
  • Supabase is our database and file storage. It holds the form answers, files and salted IP hashes. When you upload files, your browser sends them straight to Supabase storage, so Supabase sees your IP address.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile is our spam check. It loads only when you use the brief’s last step, the estimate email form or the VCinema Supply form. When you submit, we send Cloudflare the check’s result and your IP address to confirm it. It sets no cookies; inside its own frame it keeps one item in your browser’s local storage.
  • Cal.com runs the booking calendar on Book a call, loaded only after you answer the three questions. It receives your name, email, answers, your note if you added one and, if you came from our email link, a reference to your brief. Inside its frame it sets one short-lived security cookie and keeps one item in local storage. Calls take place on Google Meet.
  • Resend delivers our emails. It receives the address, subject and text of each email we send.
  • Google runs our studio inbox (Gmail) and our video calls (Google Meet), so it handles emails you send us and the alerts we send ourselves about your brief or booking. The site’s fonts are served from our own domain, so your browser doesn’t contact Google to load them.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.

Cookies and storage in your browser

  • This website sets no cookies.
  • Your Start a project draft is kept in your browser’s local storage for 7 days, so you can pick up where you left off. It’s cleared when you send the brief or start over.
  • Large uploads leave a short resume marker while they upload; it’s removed when the upload finishes.
  • A slow-device flag: if the 3D intro on the home page runs too slowly, we note that for the rest of your visit and show a still image instead. It’s cleared when you close the browser.
  • The spam check and the booking calendar store the items described above inside their own frames.
  • You can clear all of these at any time in your browser’s settings.

How long we keep it

  • Briefs, estimate requests and call bookings that don’t become a project: 2 years after the last activity on them.
  • Files uploaded with a brief that doesn’t become a project: 90 days after upload.
  • Records of emails we sent: 1 year.
  • Spam-protection records: 30 days.
  • VCinema Supply list: 30 days after the opening email.
  • Projects: kept with the project as described on Retention, which also covers likeness, voice and biometric data.

Deletion runs automatically every day. We keep signed agreements and payment records as long as the law and the agreement require.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing VCinema.Studios@gmail.com. You can also ask to be taken off the VCinema Supply list at any time. We may keep what the law or a signed agreement requires us to keep, and we’ll tell you if so.

Georgia’s Consumer Privacy Protection Act took effect on July 1, 2026. It applies to businesses above size thresholds that we don’t currently meet. We honor requests to see, correct or delete your information regardless.

Children

This website isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child under 13 has sent us information, email us and we’ll delete it.

Security

Form answers and files are kept in private storage. Only the studio’s staff can read them, and only our server can write to them.

Changes

If we change this page, we update the date at the top.
