Refunds

• The deposit is 50% of the total, due when you sign. It reserves our production dates and pays for pre-production work.
• Fully refundable if you cancel in writing within 72 hours of signing and no work has started.
• Non-refundable once pre-production begins.

Every quote divides its total into five stages (development, pre-production, production, post and delivery) and shows each stage’s share of the total, worked out from that quote’s own costs.

• You can end a project at any time, for any reason, by telling us in writing (email is fine). This is your right to terminate for convenience.
• Within 72 hours of signing, with no work started: we refund the deposit in full, and nothing is due.
• At any other time: you pay for the stages completed, plus 10% of the remaining balance (the part of the total for stages not yet completed). Once pre-production has started, the amount is never less than the deposit. A stage counts as completed when its work is finished.
• Approved change orders, and pass-through costs we have already committed (such as talent, crew, rentals and locations), are due in addition.
• Once that amount is paid, you receive the finished material, with a license for the usage in your quote. For writing services, the drafts delivered transfer to you as your quote describes.

The amount due is the agreed price of using that right, not a penalty for breach. It reflects a reasonable estimate, agreed in advance, of the costs we’ve committed and the scheduling we lose (dates turned away, crew, gear and talent holds, time reserved).
